"!No ha dejado ni para la cucaracha!" -- Literally, this means "you didn't leave anything for the cockroaches!" Used when someone is looking especially spiffy, and has put on all of their finest for an event. (Apparently, cockroaches eat clothing.)
"!Listo calisto!" -- Literally, "ready" with a rhyming word, like "ready, steady!"
"Chévere" -- cool or awesome; used for all kinds of things, people, situations
"El enfermo que come, no muere." -- The sick one who eats, doesn't die.
Joke: "?Sabes que los tiburones aquí son vegeterianas?" (Do you know that sharks are vegetarians?) Sí, sólo comen las plantas de los pies, y las palmas de las manos." (They only eat the soles of your feet and the palms of your hands.) This is a play on words, since the Spanish words for "soles" and "palms" have double meanings; "plantas" also means "plants" and "palmas" also means palms, like the trees.
