- Don Felipe, our private driver (talks a lot and easy to understand)
- Having a washing machine, rather than hand washing
- Enjoying tropical flowers and trees
- Finding a public restroom with free TP in stalls!
- No stomach sickness so far!
- It get's cool and breezy at night.
- Talking with parrots at the Jardin Botanico, whose vocabulary is even smaller than ours!  They say: hola (hi), hello, que tal (what's up?), ven (come here), and ciao (bye)!    They also have a hilarious laugh and convincing whistle.
