For those of you who know my mom, you know that she has a clumsy record. After we snorkeled at Isla Lobos for a while Magdalena, Mama, and I got cold and were ready to get back in the boat. First, Chuleta helped Magdalena in to the boat. It was a little hard for him to pull her up but he was able to. Next he helped me into the boat, he easily lifted me up and put me on the seat.
Then it was time for Mama. He pulled her up and almost got her in but then something happened. He flipped over her, head first into the water. (Another thing added to her clumsy record.) He was freezing and quickly got in to the boat. Then he tried to pull Mama back in again and this time he was able to get her in without him falling out of the boat into the water.
Everyone in the boat was cracking up, especially Jacqueline who said it was her favorite part of the trip. Chuleta accused Jacqueline of pushing him in to the water. Then he quickly changed clothes but was still freezing. When we got home everyone got a kick out of the story.
